COE Graduate Student Ambassadors

The Mission

Working with the Graduate School of Engineering, Graduate Student Ambassadors provide both prospective and admitted students with the information they need to transition to Northeastern University. Ambassadors are professional, energetic and eager to help. Their mission is to offer a glimpse into life as a current Husky and deliver the student perspective of graduate school. Ambassadors engage the community while demonstrating educational excellence and maintaining a high level of campus involvement in the College of Engineering and within the entire University.

The Things Ambassadors Do to Get You The Information You Need

Provide

We were all in your shoes once, so we are getting you the info that will help you in grad school. Check out what we provide in our ‘Ambassador’s Perspectives’ on The Blog and the Spotlights that point out department or program specific things that we want to share with you.

Engage

Our community is full of different cultures and backgrounds and we are trying to make it as easy as possible for you to engage with the ambassadors – we use many different social media and messaging platforms (e.g. Weibo, Facebook, Unibuddy). You can also email the entire team.

Appear

By participating in events on campus, all around the world and online, ambassadors appear so you get a chance to directly interact with us and get answers to your questions immediately. Whether it is in person or virtually, we are always excited to meet new and prospective students!

Connect

We have ambassadors to represent all the programs in the COE. You can connect with an individual ambassador who is in the program you are interested in, from your home country, speaks the same language, or interested in the same things. Find out our details in our ambassador profiles.
