Club Running had a successful day at Brown Running Club’s Billy Brockmueller Invitational this past Saturday. It was a big day for our relay teams, as the women’s 4×200 (1st, 1:55.8), men’s 4×200 (2nd, 1:38.63), and men’s 4×800 (2nd, 8:24.33) set new club records and both the men’s 4×400 (3:35.35) and the women’s 4×400 (4:41.67) both claimed first place in their events. Many more big performances were seen on the individual side. Abisola Olaogun had a big day, winning both the women’s 60m dash (8.60) and long jump (4.55 m), and grabbing 3rd in the high jump (1.42 m). Jeriyla Kamau-Weng was the winner in the women’s high jump (1.52 m) and the 3rd finisher in the 60m dash (8.80). Wes Baranowski won the men’s 400m (52.8) while Brendan Hehir claimed first place in both the men’s mile (4:30.13) and 3k (9:01.94).
