Congratulations to the club figure skating competitors from last season and this season. Throughout these past semesters, figure skating has still remained on top of their game.
The low team finished 5th in the country behind 2 fully funded varsity programs in the Midwest and Boston University and University of Delaware who have finished first and second respectively at the past 10+ traditional intercollegiate nationals! In this event, 2 of our skaters placed 2nd for their individual elements.
The intermediate team finished 10th and the high team ended up 12th out of the 16 competing schools. Overall, we’d say it was a very successful first nationals! Figure skating is grateful to have had the opportunity and support to compete this season and can’t wait to take this momentum into a more traditional season next year.
