Research Interests:

 • Mobile health for neuromotor speech disorders
 • Design and development of human-computer interfaces
 • Assistive technology for speech behavior change
 • Interaction between augmented feedback and speech behavior change

Background:

Mansoor received his BS in Computer Science from Pakistan and before starting his PhD program at Northeastern he co-founded Pakistan’s first and largest mobile social network (smsall.pk), developed a telephone-based social platform to provide health literacy in low-literate populations, and developed epidemic outbreak prediction systems for flu in the US and dengue in Pakistan. At Northeastern he is a PhD student in the Personal Health Informatics program. He is interested in developing ubiquitous technologies to increase communication abilities for individuals with neuromotor disorders such as Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis and cerebral palsy.
