All Peer Tutoring appointments can be booked via MyNEU under Self-Service -> Tutoring.
Tutoring requests are scheduled by students in real-time and confirmed by email.

First time tutoring appointments will take place Monday thru Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm during the school year. Next-day appointments must be booked by 9:00pm the previous day. Please note that our tutoring services begin the second week of classes and end the last day of classes! Weekly Connections Reviews are held every Monday at 6:30pm in 20 Stetson East! This is a great place to ask any homework questions or general conceptual questions to upperclassmen. Also, review sheets from the latest lecture are given out!

Thinking about research?

If you have work-study:

  1. Meet a professor that has a research project that has a research project you can contribute to.
  2. Agree on the number of hours per week
  3. The professor must email engineering.research@neu.eduwith the student’s NUID# and the # of hours per week. 
  4. The student will be hired and receive an email confirming the arrangement
  5. Each week the student works, they will filling the agreed upon # of hours, the timesheet will be approved. The professors should notify engineering.research@neu.edu if the students are not complying with the agreed upon hours so that they may be renegotiated.

 

 

Want to get involved at another school?            

Participating in undergraduate research can allow you to enhance your learning experiences while still in school. A research experience can help prepare your for advance degree or professional employment. You can conduct your own individual research projects, work with a faculty member, or be part of a group project.
