Bencherif Lab’s research featured on the front cover of Trends in Biotechnology
Our group recently published a review paper in the April 2020 edition of Trends in Biotechnology, titled “Injectable Cryogels for Biomedical Applications”. Our paper was featured on the front page of the edition, showing a scanning electron micrograph image of a cryogel scaffold.
In this cover picture, a scanning electron micrograph is shown displaying the stunning architectural complexity of a macroporous cryogel scaffold. In shimmering gold, pink, and purple, the colorful image illustrates a range of intricate and well-organized patterns found in the skeletal structure of ice-templated cryogels.
