THE WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION

Created in 1948, the WHO has long been committed to achieving better health for everyone, everywhere. More than 7,000 people from more than 150 countries work for the WHO, with six regional offices. From its headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland, the WHO has been striving to combat diseases, from communicable diseases like influenza and HIV, to more noncommunicable diseases like cancer and heart disease.

As BATL’s efforts are in regulatory convergence, we are leveraging our relationships with the ICH and APEC in our collaboration with the WHO.

BATL’S focus: Distance learning, research, and follow up (learner engagement).
