Northeastern Health and Counseling Services

This is a free service available to you if you are an eligible Northeastern student. Consists of psychologists, clinical social workers, mental health counselors, clinical nurse specialists and a psychiatrist, who provide a variety of services to meet student needs. These include scheduled and emergency assessment, short-term individual therapy, group counseling, psychopharmacology treatment, and referrals.

Multi-Service Eating Disorders Association (MEDA)

Local non-profit organization in New England that offers a variety of services to support individuals and families through the various stages of their eating disorder.

Toll-free, confidential Helpline for anyone who currently struggles with or feels at risk of developing an eating disorder. Monday-Thursday from 9:00 am – 9:00 pm and Friday from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (EST)

Project Heal

Provides grant funding for people with eating disorders who cannot afford treatment, promote healthy body image and self-esteem, and serve as a testament that full recovery from an eating disorder is possible.
