Research Interests
I work as a post-doctorate researcher in the Lewis lab – Lyme group. In the fascinating field of Molecular Microbiology, I have previously studied Type IV secretion and pili system, archaeal lipid biosynthesis and gingipains. Currently, I am investigating the physiology of Borrelia burgdorferi, the causative agent of Lyme disease. I am also part of the Lyme disease drug discovery efforts. An interactive researcher, I am always interested in conversation about molecular mechanisms…for the Aha! moments. Outside lab, I like to go on exploration excursion with my little one who loves hiking as much as I do!
