Research Interests
My research is focused on the treatment and eradication of Lyme disease within mammals, as well as the host-pathogen relationship. This is accomplished by testing compounds that are produced from natural sources (such as bacteria) on an in vivo model that is infected with Borrelia burgdorferi, the causative agent of Lyme disease. In my free time I enjoy reading, puzzles and watching movies.
